This Water Tower is an icon in the Cambridge township. I have no idea when it was built but my Aunty and Uncle and older cousins lived a short distance across the road. I was shocked a while back to see that their house had been removed and the large area of land is sitting vacant – not sure why. When we visited as children playing in and around the Tower was a favourite. I remember the tall stories my dad use to tell…..of bats and ghosts!

The photo had vivid blue sky and rusty coloured bricks but I thought I’d ‘add to the mystique’ and change it to black and white.

  1. The grittiness of the black and white really help this image.

  2. I love the starkness and harsh outlines
